Samsung Solve for Tomorrow encourages young minds to envision and realize innovative solutions that can resolve the challenges and risks that their communities face.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based contest created to foster problem-solving skills while promoting the positive impact young minds can have on our society. The contest inspires our participants to tackle emerging challenges and produce tangible innovations to help improve our society. During its journey, we aim to equip students with skills that go far beyond technical, including critical thinking, creative thinking, communicating, and collaborating skills, required for the future workforce.

Since its inception in the U.S. in 2010, Solve for Tomorrow has expanded its operation in 33 countries worldwide including Korea. Samsung employees volunteer to advise on projects and offer their expertise in each country, walking the journey together with the contestants. From 2021 – Solve for Tomorrow runs also in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, all together as one Baltics idea contest for youth!

Over the past four school years, students have explored themes such as balancing online and offline life (2021/2022), developing impactful ideas for a sustainable lifestyle (2022/2023), improving wellbeing at school (2023/2024), and enhancing student talents through artificial intelligence (2024/2025).

This season, “Solve for Tomorrow” invites young innovators from across the Baltic countries to step onto a new playing field! In the spirit of the upcoming Milano Cortina Winter Olympics 2026 “Samsung” is calling students all over the world to bring their boldest ideas where sports and technology team up to make a difference.

Imagine creating fresh, fun, and inclusive ways to make sports accessible, educational, and impactful for everyone. Whether it’s a captivating mobile app, a cool social media concept, interactive installations in city spaces, or an entirely new game – all ideas are welcome!

The prize fund of the contest is really impressive – Top teams will split a stirring prize fund of 16 000 EUR, while the winning team will receive 5,000 EUR in cash, along with 5,000 EUR for purchasing Samsung devices. So get ready to blend the spirit of sport and the power of technology, and show how your idea can make a real difference!
